Online Cantonese Learning Platform

An integrated online platform for Cantonese learning that brings together course modules, Jyutping (the Cantonese Romanization scheme) instructional videos, and pronunciation, prosody, and emotion training in one learning experience. Designed on research-grounded methods so that diverse learners practise pronunciation, prosody, and emotion together rather than in isolation, lowering the entry barrier for self-study. The Jyutping (Linguistic Society of Hong Kong) component originated as a MOOC for which I independently designed the curriculum and shot and edited the instructional videos; lecturer: CHAN Wai-man (Sep 2019 – Jun 2020).
